Rights and ownership

Copyright Policy

Creators must upload only content they own or are authorised to use. This policy explains how rights holders can notify CliqView about alleged infringement.

Respecting intellectual property

CliqView prohibits unauthorised copies of films, broadcasts, music, images and other protected works. Fair dealing, criticism, commentary and other lawful uses may apply depending on the circumstances, but uploaders are responsible for having the necessary rights.

Submitting a notice

A complete notice must identify the protected work, the exact CliqView URL, your contact information and a signed declaration that the information is accurate. Submit the secure Copyright Takedown Request or email copyright@cliqview.com.

What happens next

We review complete notices, may temporarily disable access or monetisation, notify the uploader where appropriate, and retain an audit record. Incomplete or abusive notices may be rejected. The uploader may provide a counter-notice if they believe content was removed by mistake.

Repeat infringement

CliqView may issue strikes, suspend upload or monetisation features, or terminate accounts associated with repeated or serious infringement. We may also preserve records and cooperate with lawful requests.
