Why we built CliqView

Online video creates culture, teaches practical skills and connects communities, yet much of the value it produces stays concentrated in a small number of places. CliqView was created to make participation more direct. Creators can publish original work, speak with their audience and develop sustainable communities. Viewers can discover that work, interact responsibly and receive limited rewards for verified engagement.

We are designing the platform for the way people in Ghana and across Africa already use the internet: on mobile devices, through short sessions, with local payment needs and strong social connections. That means responsive playback, vertical video, live collaboration and Mobile Money support are core product decisions rather than afterthoughts.

What people can do here

Viewers can browse public videos without creating an account. Members can follow channels, comment, save videos, build playlists, participate in live chat and manage their viewing history. Short videos provide quick discovery, while long-form uploads give creators room for interviews, education, entertainment and detailed storytelling.

Live broadcasting supports solo hosts and collaborative sessions. Hosts can invite guests, respond to requests to join, appoint moderators and manage the conversation. After a broadcast, eligible recordings can be reviewed and published as replay content.

A transparent approach to rewards

CliqView does not promise income simply for opening a page. A viewer reward is considered only after an authenticated watch session reaches the required completion threshold and passes integrity checks. Daily limits apply. Creator earnings can come from eligible advertising, gifts, tips, subscriptions and other clearly identified sources. Balances may remain pending while activity is checked before withdrawal becomes available.

These controls protect genuine viewers and creators. Automated viewing, repeated artificial activity and attempts to manipulate engagement are not qualified and may result in reversed rewards or account restrictions.

Our responsibility

A healthy video platform needs more than upload and playback tools. CliqView includes reporting, comment moderation, live-room controls and administrative review. We expect creators to publish work they have the right to share, label commercial relationships honestly and treat other members with respect. We also give users clear ways to report content or behaviour that may violate our standards.

CliqView is an evolving service. We use product feedback, moderation outcomes and performance data to improve discovery, safety and reliability while keeping our rules understandable.
